This dreamy girl’s baby shower was everything you could image – and more, with every detail blooming into pure perfection! Designed by the talented A Good Affair, the Baby In Bloom theme came to life with soft pink hues, gorgeous florals, and delicate touches that felt both feminine and sophisticated. From the delicious brunch spread to fun games and a picture-perfect backdrop for gift opening, this little girl’s baby shower was unforgettable. Keep reading to discover how A Good Affair brought Emily’s vision to life in the most beautiful way!

The Planner Shares,

“Emily’s sister-in-law hired us to bring to life an adorable feminine shower for Emily and her baby girl! Baby in Bloom was the theme and I wanted to use girly yet sophisticated shades of blush, dusty rose, and petal pink. The linen was the cornerstone of the design with a gorgeous floral print from Luxe Linens. We created a backdrop that perfectly matched the palette with balloons and the cutest cake. Guests were greeted with tray passed mimosas and brunch bites of mini quiches, crab cakes, beef wellington, and mini shrimp cocktails. The brunch was catered by Blueberry Hill and guests enjoyed a live action crepe station, fresh fruit and pastries, and other delicious savory brunch favorites. “

The Planner Continues,

“We created custom games for guests to play and had a baby-block color station for guests to get creative for sweet Lyla Grace! Emily opened her gifts in front of a pretty backdrop of balloons and blooms. The shower was so sweet and special for Emily and it was such an honor to get to design it and wow her as she is a professional planner herself.

The planner, Natalie Good, of A Good Affair shares,

“As a professional designer and planner, I feel blessed that I have the privilege to work with so many wonderful clients and bring their special events to life. A huge perk to my job is when a client turns into a friend, and in the case of Erin, a best friend. I did Erin and Matt’s wedding at, The Resort at Pelican Hill, 12 years ago. We worked together planning their big day for over a year and a half. By the time the wedding rolled around, no one could believe we hadn’t been friends for many years. We just had this instant connection that you are lucky to find a few times in your life.”

The planner continues,

“When it came time for my best friend to become a Mama, you better believe I was going to throw her an amazing shower. Her mom and I set out to bring to life something that embodied the first love of her life- horses. Erin has been an equestrian all of her life and has a deep love for her horse, Milton. I wanted the shower to be feminine and sweet with vintage equestrian touches. From the toile dessert backdrop, to the vintage rocking horses, every element had the perfect horse and baby girl touches.

Myself, along with 80 ladies, were thrilled to shower Erin with blessings for this long awaited baby. Erin has had quite the journey. Diagnosed with breast cancer at 27, she has gone through so much to fight off cancer and WIN! Along the way, she and Matt knew that they would need to use a surrogate to grow their family. One of the highlights of the shower was having their wonderful surrogate, Danielle, Facetime for all of us to cheer her on and thank her for the blessing that she was for Erin and Matt. The day was filled with beauty, joy, heartfelt toasts, and memories that I will never forget.”

We love all of the incredible details of this blush pink equestrian-themed baby shower. If you are looking for more baby shower inspiration, we have you covered! Check out this blush baby shower with hints of gold!

Family and friends anticipate the imminent arrival of a little cub with a ‘baby bear’ themed baby shower. Every detail of this dusty blue and brown toned baby shower undeniably whispers of elegance and serenity. From the sophisticated floral arrangements, to the elegant tablescape, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere of cozy enchantment. The venue, adorned with soft drapes of dusty blue fabric, accented by rustic touches of brown, allures a cozy woodland-like retreat.

The designer shares,

“Guests came from near and far to help celebrate Erin and Andrew’s elegant baby shower. The dusty blue and brown tones were perfect for a cold January winter day in the Midwest. With both parents being adventurous and mom-to-be with the nickname “Er bear”; it was only fitting to host an adorable teddy bear themed baby shower.”

The designer continues,

“The hosts selected Chandler’s Steakhouse as the setting and allowed me to run with my own design ideas. I worked closely with Wild Orchid to create a tablescape that was simple and classic while featuring fresh florals. The brown toffee roses were a perfect touch and gave all the teddy bear vibes.

Gold rimmed chargers and gold bud vases added a touch of elegance throughout. Guests were able to guess the baby’s due date, play a fun group mom vs. dad game, and enjoy a delicious brunch buffet from Chandler’s. Kim Ritchie Photography did a fabulous job capturing all the details and the soon to be parents with their close friends and family!”

The mom-to-be shares,

“As I embark on the beautiful journey of motherhood, I couldn’t wait to celebrate the impending arrival of our little princess. I knew I wanted my baby shower to be a perfect blend of femininity and fun. With the loving support of my father and sisters, we decided to host the event at our childhood home in Southern California. We created a warm and inviting atmosphere that forever holds a special place in my heart.”

The mom-to-be continues,

“Being a brunch enthusiast and gluten-free by choice, I envisioned a baby shower filled with delicious breakfast delights and wholesome options for all to enjoy. Thanks to our talented caterer, Catering of Paris, my dream became a reality. They skillfully accommodated my dietary needs, ensuring that every bite was as scrumptious as it was healthy.

As the founder of Loverly, I’m no stranger to working with incredible vendors who make dreams come true. However, for this special occasion, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and collaborate with a fresh team of talented individuals. What a thrill it was to discover the perfect partners for this endeavor! Using Loverly to plan my shower was effortless and filled with incredible inspiration.”

Highlights from the day,

“One of the true highlights of the day was the magnificent vintage-inspired cakes and cupcakes expertly crafted by Rachel, at Cake Queen LA. Not only were these confections a sight to behold, but they also tasted like pure heaven. The buttercream frosting was, without a doubt, the best I had ever savored. Rachel’s ability to replicate the flavors for the gluten-free options left me in awe. It was a delight to see my vision come to life through her creations.

The magic didn’t stop there. The floral arrangements, decor, and rentals, all thoughtfully curated and arranged by the talented Pretty Sweet Deets team, transformed our backyard into an intimate, yet stunning brunch picnic. Their attention to detail and creative touch left everyone enchanted.”

In conclusion,

“Of course, no baby shower is complete without a few surprises, and my sisters did not disappoint. They surprised me with charming printouts of cherished moments between my fiancé and me. It reminded me of the beautiful journey that had led us to this point. To add an eco-friendly touch, they gifted our guests seed paper in pots that perfectly matched our theme: “Baby in Bloom.” These thoughtful tokens of love symbolized, not only the new life growing within me, but also, the love and growth in all our lives.

My baby shower was a true reflection of the love and support that surround our growing family. It was a day of laughter, joy, and heartfelt moments. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful beginning to this new chapter in our lives. As we eagerly await the arrival of our baby girl, I’m filled with nothing but excitement and gratitude for the love and blessings that surround us.”

This bright and airy baby shower coincides perfectly with the theme! A baby boy is on his way, and what better way to incorporate a fun, yet neutral theme, other than a ‘here comes the son’ baby shower. The neutral details, including the napkins and wood chairs, bring a warmth to this gathering. The unique floral arrangements spread across the elegant banquet table are stunning centerpieces – just wait until you see the close ups! Not only is the entire tablescape flawless, but the balloon arch creates the perfect backdrop for pictures with the parents to be!

The mom-to-be shares,

“Everything was so special about this day! I was honored to have everyone come together and celebrate. I bought a beautiful blue dress thinking how appropriate to wear blue for a baby boy. However, after much convincing, and seeing a slip of the vision board, I was highly influenced to wear a yellow dress. I am glad that I made the last minute wardrobe change. The theme, ‘Here Comes the Son’ included bright and cheery colors, and my yellow dress was perfect!

Most importantly though, the room was full of love. My sister and sisters-in-law all came together and organized a beautiful shower at my father-in-law’s home. Being with family and friends in a familiar family home was more meaningful than having it at a banquet hall. Furthermore, the food was catered from a cute little restaurant that my husband’s late mother used to frequent which was very sweet.”

The mom-to-be continues,

“I did not want a coed baby shower, but I really wanted to make sure that my husband, dad, and father-in-law were there. My dad recently had surgery and I was beyond happy that he was able to make it to my shower. I did not want to have one without him by my side.

Overall, I would not have changed a thing. I am so lucky that I married into such a beautiful, supportive family who gets along wonderfully with my family. When I was younger and made my list of the “perfect husband”, that was one of my top items and I’m so happy that came true.”

‘Here comes the son’ baby shower is the perfect theme if you are wanting something bright and neutral. If you are looking for more neutral inspiration, check out these 5 gender neutral baby shower themes!

There is something about a neutral color palette that gives off the most elegant ambience. Pops of greenery along with the blue and pink hues work so well with the bright venue and style they were going for. Not only is this hot air balloon baby shower theme adorable, but the sentimental decorations elevate the entire shower. Sprinkled throughout are the mom-to-be’s childhood favorites (and even some of her very own keepsakes). Talk about a lovely nostalgic addition to a baby shower!

The photographer shares,

“On a surprisingly warm and sunny November day in Maryland, we celebrated a former bride, as she prepared to become a first time mom. The sweetest little details that filled the space included books and small toys that once belonged to the mom-to-be and her siblings.

Lush florals in shades of cream and blue brought a soft elegance to this neutral baby shower. Custom made hot air balloons and napkins turned future burp cloths for baby elevated each table. After lunch, guests mingled while enjoying sparkling cinnamon and nutmeg cocktails while having their palms read. Adventure certainly awaits the parents to be!”

The photographer continues,

“A fabulous team of vendors brought this hot air balloon baby shower vision to life. Social Supply created custom 20″ hot air balloons. The hot air balloons were filled at the base with garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus and sweet peas supplied by Floral and Bloom. Beautiful wooden tables, cane back dining chairs and multiple unique globes were supplied by White Glove Rentals. Neutral velvet linens were supplied by BBJ Linens and adding special touches throughout were custom signage, supplied by MLC Designs.”

There is truly nothing better than sunshine, bright colors, and fresh florals paired together. This fun in the sun, Palm Springs inspired baby shower has all the perfect details. We love that the invitation clearly defines the theme and already creates that ‘Palm Springs meets Summer baby’ vibe! If we received this kind of invitation to a party, we would be the very first to RSVP. The customized details throughout this baby shower are next level. The keychains with tassels and coasters that guests were gifted are some of our favorites!

The mom-to-be shares about her vision,

“My husband, Koen, and I were incredibly excited to throw a baby shower for our baby girl arriving over the Summer. I work as an event planner & graphic designer at Two Perfect Events, and I knew the team could help me achieve my dream baby shower! I have always been enamored by the allure of Palm Springs. The Two Perfect Events team and I brainstormed ideas to incorporate that ‘Palm Springs meets summer baby in California’ vibe. We wanted to feel like we were on a classic vacation in Palm Springs with surprise and delightful inspirations drawn from Gray Malin’s retro aesthetics and Wes Anderson’s quirky style.”

The mom-to-be continues with the details,

“The invitation suite set the tone with a pool-inspired blue envelope sleeve. It housed the colorful, double-sided checkerboard invitation, topped with a gold tassel. They were sent out in pink envelopes with yellow cabana striped envelope liners. Everything at the baby shower matched both the colors of the invitation as well as the designs.

Guests were welcomed with a “mom-osa” bar cart with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options. TÖST is a great a non-alcoholic champagne option that still felt like an adult drink. The tables were adorned with the most beautiful and playful florals, designed by Mister Lee Designs. The arrangements consisted of an array of flowers that included my favorite flower, the anthurium shibori. Some flowers displayed themselves in cut watermelon slices and the pink dahlia tuber flowers matched the pink flamingo straws.

The welcome table, decorated with favors, guestbook, box for baby books, and prizes for games. The favors were heart shaped sunglasses and Sugarfina’s famous champagne gummy bears. The guestbook was a frame with a mat that the guests signed, and a group photo taken from the baby shower would be later displayed in the frame. As for the baby books, I loved the idea of having books from the guests (which they signed) in place of a card. I also had retro car toys around as decoration because I loved Gray Malin’s photos of dogs in those types of cars.”

The mom-to-be continues,

“The custom photo backdrop reads ‘Girls just wanna have sun’, as a fun way to tie into the theme, while also alluding to the fact that I’m expecting a baby girl. We decorated it with large live plants (from Leafy), a custom BUMP street sign, large pink car, and large disco balls. The pink car carried a package labeled ‘special delivery arriving soon’. The design inspiration was from Wes Anderson’s Mendl’s patisserie packaging from the movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Disco balls of various sizes (from Abbey Party Rents) dispersed throughout the venue refracted fun little specks of light everywhere.

The dessert table, filled with so many cute and custom mini desserts! Which includes a cake pop, designed to be a pink beach ball, made by La Vie Douce Designs. I, of course, also had to have my favorite Japanese snack called Pocky – strawberry cream covered biscuit sticks. We also brought in a Bliss Pops popsicle cart for guests to stay cool, decorated with a menu that said ‘Ready to Pop!’.

The lunch table, set up in the outside veranda took place underneath beautiful wicker fans with the gorgeous pool as the backdrop. The guests sat at long King’s tables with blue acrylic chairs from Blueprint and Nüage Designs linens. The table display also included coral napkins from Chairs4Events and ornate green plates with gold & silver flatware from Hensley.

Everyone found their seats through the custom-designed motel style keychains which had their names engraved in them. The coasters, created by the Two Perfect Events team, were also the gift for attending guests,

It was a memorable day and such a reprieve to be able to spend time with our loved ones. Especially, after not being able to see everyone for most of the pandemic. Not to mention ,one of the most epic and beautiful parties to throw our daughter-to-come.”

If you are in need of a vacation, be sure to check out our weekend guide to Palm Springs. It’s perfect for any occasion, including, bachelorette parties, a girls trip, or gathering a bunch of friends together!

This coastal baby sprinkle is the perfect way to welcome in a new addition! Who doesn’t want to join in on a rooftop beachside gathering to celebrate? This event incorporated a coastal-chic design, along with a cozy lounge experience for the attending guests. With a theme like ‘baby on (surf)board’, this sun-kissed baby sprinkle had no shortage of the perfect details. The natural ocean backdrop and adorable surfboard accessories decorated throughout is one of the many reasons we are in love with this party.

Be Inspired PR shares,

“For our “baby on (surf)board” theme, we incorporated cool ocean blue tones with pops of coral for a little zing. Precious & Blooming provided whimsical floral arrangements that felt perfectly aligned with our beachy-chic design. To give guests space to mix and mingle, we created cozy lounge vignettes from Folkore that combined rattan furniture and plush accents.

Guests snacked from an epic grazing table display from The Seed. The options included fresh vegetables, organic cheeses, chips and salsa, and a dessert display of assorted cookies and sweets. To really punch up the theme, we teamed up with Prim & Pixie to create a photo backdrop. There were larger-than-life wooden surfboards spelling out BABY to give everyone the sweetest spot to take photos together. Wooden signage with beach motifs sprinkled throughout the space, made for extra special touches.”

Be Inspired PR also shares,

“For an interactive station, we set out custom seashell cards out for guests to leave well wishes for the baby. To set the tone, On The Beat sent an acoustic guitarist to play coastal lofi tunes to create the perfect vibe! This day is proof that a baby sprinkle can feel elevated and cool with the right details and design!”

If you are on the search for more baby shower ideas, perhaps something gender neutral, this is a great one!

Naming your soon-to-be daughter, Magnolia provides the perfect baby shower theme! This magnolia-themed blush baby shower is so bright and festive. It is an excellent use of color and floral arrangements to represent the light of a new child. The tablescape pairs well with the extravagant balloon arch. It makes every turn a new detail to uncover. You even get to choose a flower crown from the beautiful wall of them?! Count us in.

Event Designer Simply By Tamara Nicole tells us all about this magnolia-themed blush baby shower,

The inspiration for Elle’s baby shower came from her soon-to-be daughter’s name, Magnolia! We used hues from the Magnolia leaves and flowers to inspire the decor. Adding in fun modern twists, as well as so more boho vibes to make the perfect little shower. We even asked the guests all to wear white, to coordinate with the decor and it was SO clean and fun to see everyone participate.

When guests arrived, they were greeted with one side of the custom wall created by On the Wall Design Studio. There were shelves with bubbly- with each guest’s name on it (cute half circle tags created by The Fancy Cat Studio). They added their choice of 3 juices, and fruit to top it. THEN on the other side of the wall, we just spun it around on wheels . . . and they were able to choose a custom hair piece for the shower. We made hair clips, and head bands with dried flowers and greenery mixed in with some fresh. It was so much fun to see everyone coordinating!

The invitations set the tone with style and color- simple, modern, with a slight moody edge, created by Design Luxe Creative. The rest of the signage and day of paper goods were designed by The Fancy Cat Studio. We had a blast adding floral to the fun sign Crystal made. She also printed the little games we played, and menus, labels, etc. We always love some good signage at our events!

For the brunch, the vision was a grazing table, and Blue Ribbon Cooking School nailed it. The display of amazing foods; Belgium Waffles with Fresh Local Berries, French Chocolate Roulade Crepes, Swedish Pancake Puffs with Maple Cream Dipping Sauce, Hand Crafted Croissants, Holiday Inspired Bite-Size Scones with Fig Preserve, European Cheeses and Cured Meats, Raw Local Honey and Winter Fruits, Vanilla-Chipotle Spiced Pecans. It was delicious! Then dessert was a delicious Earl Grey Cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio. Custom adorable cookies by Katie the Cookie Bee to take home, along with gift boxes (including a peony candle, cute tea in a test tube, and a fun hair tie)- adorned with dried flowers and silk ribbon.

Guests sat on poufs, pillows, etc from Wander Event Rentals. Dishes from Balancing Balloons sat at each guest table- and we had “poufs” of small floral arrangements down the table with candles. At the head of the long table was the balloon arch and floral installation- on a white grid as the backdrop. On the other side was a lounge area.

We all had SO much fun, and can’t wait to meet Magnolia!

As if the blush baby shower wasn’t enough, it is an excellent opportunity to spend time with loved ones! A new baby creates such an exciting time. Are you pregnant and looking for even more inspiration for your baby shower? Check out this Neutral Baby Shower With Modern Details!

Planning any party can be stressful. Navigating all of the moving logistics is no small task, and when you add in pregnancy brain all bets are off the table. So if you are planning a baby shower for yourself, or for someone you love then we have the guide for you! With the world still navigating in person events, we have decided to enlist the help from one of our favorite food bloggers, Amanda Wilens to help list out a guide to planning a virtual baby shower. These tips Amanda has put together quite the thorow guide for you all to assist in your planning process. Scroll on to read all of her tips!

Make a Budget

The first step with party planning is to figure out your budget and also who will be paying for it. Think about each element for the event: personalized boxes, shipping, and special gifts for the parents to be.

Make the Guest List

Talk to the parents to be about how many people, get their mailing addresses, and email addresses. This can affect your budget, so you might need to alter the items for each person to make it work.

Find a Date and Time

Find a date that works for the parents to be and their most important loved ones to have on the video call. And how long the call should be 1-2 hours should be enough time.

Make and Send Invitations

Invitations for events should be sent 6-8 weeks in advance. You can go earlier, but 6 weeks should be the latest you send out invites, then make sure you send out reminders closer to the event date. Since this event is online, I suggest going virtual for the invitations as well. A site like Evite is great because you can customize it, add in details like a registry, and even has a system for video calls now.

Pick a Theme

Everyone loves to come up with a theme that ties all your pieces together. It also really makes your baskets look 10 times better having them color and/or theme coordinating. With this lemon theme, it was to make it nice to be gender-neutral. Such a fun theme and perfect for so many seasons.

Schedule Special Items for the Parents to Be

It’s nice to be able to send something special specifically for them to make the day even better. Find local businesses that are able to make and deliver an on-theme small cake and a flower arrangement.

Purchase and Assemble Baskets

Come up with a few pieces that you can fit into your budget and theme that will be safe for shipping and hold up until the date of the event. A few fun things included:
Eco-friendly shipping stuffing from Etsy.
Fun digital pages and games with the lemon theme also from Etsy.
Buttons for “mama to be”, “grandma to be”, etc. from Etsy.
Super cute “Oh Baby” cocktail stirrers from Creative Amme are just perfect.
Printout of the recipe for the Lemon Mocktail recipe.
Custom lemon-themed cookies from The Cookie Meister in Orange County.
Custom candles from Terra

Shipping the Baskets

You want to time this out so the boxes get there a few days before the event. You will need to think about shipping, boxes, tape, etc. And plan out some time to assemble baskets, package the boxes, and ship.

Make an Agenda

Keep a loose agenda for the video call and check in with the parents to be to see what they would like to do and what not like to do. You can do a few of the printable games, open gifts, and chat.
