Our goal with this shoot was to combine modern, natural, romantic, and timeless. Every bride needs to look through so much inspiration to pick and pull what she wants for her wedding day and to find her own unique style. We wanted to provide some inspiration to brides who are looking to do something a little different and pull from lots of different styles to put together one cohesive, modern look. From the simple black and white backgrounds to the industrial cement warehouse look, and to the romantic florals and warm hues, we incorporated as many different pieces that inspire us as we could. In my mind, a wedding style should be gorgeous and elegant enough to make the bride feel like royalty on her special day, yet simple enough to bring all the focus to the bride and groom themselves. In photography, one of the main goals of a photo is to bring the focus and attention to the subject, and I think that transfers over to wedding themes perfectly. Through odd details such as a couch in an empty room, a contrasting black and white wall, and a bride with daisies covering her arms, we hoped to switch things up, inspire others, and make a little bit of magic.
